Capital Crafters Stitching Day -
17 April
Information available here

BABYSITTING
Capital Crafters is pleased to offer babysitting services to members during each weekly meeting. Your
child/children will be cared for in an adjoining room by responsible adults who have been interviewed and chosen
by the DCC Committee. Enjoy some well-deserved time away to recharge and revive.

QUILTING MACHINE
Capital Crafters is proud to own a hand-operated longarm quilting machine for use by its members. For a small
fee you can transform your handmade quilt tops into treasured heirlooms. Full training for use of the machine is
provided by other experienced members and bookings are essential.

ALL DAY CRAFT
Capital Crafters regularly offers All Day Craft opportunities on weekends, usually Saturday. These days are a
great opportunity to escape the daily routine and devote valuable hours to completing your treasured craft
project.

Papercraft days are offered monthly by our resident Papercraft Guru to help you plan, layout and create your
perfect pages.

UFO Days (Un-Finished Objects) occur every 2nd month (on a Saturday) and are supervised by our Quilting Queen
who will assist you to design, piece and complete your next heirloom. UFO days are open to ALL crafters as an
opportunity to work on and complete a treasured project.

ANNUAL BUS TRIP
Each year Capital Crafters organises an all-day bus trip (usually Saturday) to attend a major Craft Exhibition or
enjoy a day discovering the Craft shops situated in the Southern Highlands. It's a great opportunity to spend a day
out being inspired by beautiful crafts.

GROUP QUILT
Every year members of Capital Crafters are asked to take part in the creation of a large handmade quilt that is
then offered as first prize in the annual Bus Trip raffle. The design of this quilt ranges from traditional piecework
and hand sewing to machine sewing and modern appliqué. The group quilt is a wonderful opportunity to work
together and offers sewers and non-sewers alike the chance to learn new skills.
